Thursday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Chaim Moshe Bittman,
the bochur Meir Dovid Goldberger.
During the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for hagbah, and after davening a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon at 5:30 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Chananya Goldberger and R' Yisroel Aryeh Hollander, at Kinor David hall.

After the chuppah at 8:00 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv, and after Maariv he sanctified the moon in front of his holy home.

At 9:30 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Williamsburg and went to visit our holy kehilla's bakery, accompanied by the Av Beis Din shlit"a. The Rebbe looked over the facilities and the hiddurim that have been put in place. The manager, R' Baruch Yuda Spitzer, showed the plans of the new building that was purchased and that will, IY"H, be built on a grand scale. The Rebbe then visited the hand-mill department and looked over the milling process.

On the way out, a lengthy conversation took place with HaRav R' Bentzion Laub shlit"a, dayan of our holy kehilla's Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe. He gave a report on the gathering in Albany with the Board of Regents, and on the efforts on the front lines to save Ukrainian Jewry.

Around 10:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Beis Medrash Eitz Chaim Sighet, to the Sheva Brachos celebration arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Sighet Rav shlit"a. R' Dovid Friedman, one of the mispallelim of the beis medrash, spoke. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, tasted from the fish course, and bestowed his holy blessings upon the chosson, the mechutanim and all the mispallelim. The Sighet Rav shlit"a spoke words of Torah, and afterward the Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words; after the divrei Torah the Rebbe spoke in praise of the beis medrash and recounted memories from years past in that beis medrash.

Afterward R' Yeshaya Sachs performed as badchan, and the Rebbe broke into a dance in honor of tzaddikim. The mechutan HaRav R' Chaim Dovid Rubin shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Ohel Torah, was honored with leading Birkas Hamazon. The first brachos were given to the grandfather, HaGaon Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a, and the final bracha to the grandfather, HaGaon R' Yekusiel Teitelbaum shlit"a.
It concluded around 11:30.
