Report on the holy journey of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a to Manchester, Part 4.

On Motzei Shabbos after Havdalah, there was yichidus (entry to the Rebbe's room) for chassidim from Europe until approximately 10:30.

At 10:35 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the home of the prominent philanthropist R' Chaim Yosef Greenfeld. First, a lechayim gathering was held by the talmidim of our holy yeshiva "Torah V'Yirah" London. Several niggunim were sung, and they presented the Rebbe with thousands of consecutive hours of learning. The Rebbe spoke a few words of blessing and distributed holy coins to all the bochurim who had learned the consecutive hours.
Later, dozens of bochurim, talmidim of Yeshivas Eitz Chaim Willrijk and talmidim of the yeshiva ketana of our holy institutions in Antwerp, also entered the Rebbe's room. They presented the Rebbe shlit"a with 2353 consecutive hours, and the Rebbe shlit"a distributed holy coins to all the bochurim.

Afterwards, yichidus continued, as dozens of fresh groups of guests from London, who had come out for the magnificent gathering of chassidim from across Europe, went in to greet the Rebbe.

Afterwards, the signing of the pledge documents took place with the esteemed donors who gave large sums and purchased the great merits in the construction of our holy institutions, the new yeshiva ketana building and the Beis Rochel building.
The esteemed Levi family, the prominent philanthropist R' Moshe Goldstein, the prominent philanthropist R' Chaim Levi, HaGaon R' Leibel Tauber shlit"a, the prominent philanthropist R' Chaim Tager. The Rebbe shlit"a signed the documents with each donor individually and bestowed his holy blessings.

"The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this is the day Hashem has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."

At about 12:10 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the gigantic Beis Yaakov hall amid throngs of thousands of chassidim, where the magnificent general gathering for all chassidim of Europe took place, together with the laying of the cornerstone for the buildings of our holy institutions in Manchester: the new yeshiva ketana building and the expansion and additions to the Beis Rochel building.

Upon arrival, the Rebbe shlit"a broke out into a fiery dance at the spot, "Borei Olam b'kinyan hashalem zeh habinyan." During the elevated gathering, R' Yoel Klein, head singer in our holy courts in Eretz Yisroel, provided musical joy with songs and praises, accompanied by the Neimos choir together with a child prodigy. Afterwards Rabbi Yitzchak Kahana sang longer rhymed verses in honor of the occasion.

After longer inspiring niggunim, the Rebbe shlit"a laid the two stones for the two buildings of our holy institutions in the city, while the assembled sang prayerful melodies to Hashem, and rivers of tears were shed in prayer to the living G-d for our children and our generations.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a delivered the holy address, the word of Hashem and the duty of the hour, words of chizuk and guidance for all chassidim of Europe, and in the course of it spoke about the expansion of the borders of holiness in our holy institutions in Manchester and about the importance of the kehilla and its institutions, and words of praise for the esteemed donors, the builders of the building, and concluded with his holy blessings.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a continued with fiery dancing for several minutes. It concluded at around 1:55.

Fortunate is the eye that has seen the joy of our kehilla; fortunate is the people for whom this is so, fortunate is the people whose G-d is Hashem.
