Tuesday, Parshas Nitzavim, Third Selichos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 5:45, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the recital of Selichos in our great beis medrash in Williamsburg. The baal tefillah was R' Yudel Wertzberger.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Talmud Torah building 'Binyan Yeshaya Zev Lev', together with the students of the ninth grade Mechina L'Yeshiva. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Avrohom Shlomo Hopfer.
The bochur Yechiel Argel.
The bochur Yisroel Moshe Berkowitz.

After davening, the outstanding students of the eighth grade entered the Rebbe's private room, after having been tested on their studies. The Rebbe shlit"a distributed prizes and gave his holy blessings. Also entering were the students of the ninth grade Mechina L'Yeshiva, who had brought in larger sums for the benefit of the mosdos in the days of Purim that just passed. The Rebbe shlit"a distributed blessed coins.

Afterwards, a lechayim gathering took place together with the students of the ninth grade Mechina L'Yeshiva. The Rebbe shlit"a drank a lechayim and blessed the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rabbeim and the bochurim, and then delivered brief holy words.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a went down to the magnificent, newly renovated Frenkel Hall, donated by the distinguished philanthropist R' Avigdor Frenkel and his son, the distinguished philanthropist R' Yehoshua. The Rebbe shlit"a affixed the mezuzah and honored HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of Williamsburg shlit"a, and the distinguished philanthropist R' Avigdor Frenkel, with affixing a mezuzah. Then the Rebbe shlit"a gave his holy blessings to the donors and askanim, and looked over the halls.

And the Holy Spirit says: so may he increase and so may he spread forth

At around 12:15, the Rebbe shlit"a - as already reported - arrived at the "mezuzah-affixing ceremony and lechayim gathering" for the building of Beis Rochel, the new Riesler Building in our holy mosdos in Williamsburg, which was, b'shaah tovah u'metzuyenes, opened and put into use after long years of anguish. - See the separate report among the previous reports -

In the evening there was a time of entry to the Rebbe's holy room for the members of the Williamsburg community, as every Tuesday. A huge crowd of our chassidim streamed in one after another for over 8 hours, from 4:30 in the afternoon until 12:45 at night.
