Thursday, Parshas Ki Seitzei, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Kalman Eliezer Eckstein took place, at which the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with both sandekaus and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, "Kedushas Yoel" branch. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yoel Lichtenstein.

After davening, the ceremony of beginning the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, of the Torah being written by the talmidei hayeshiva. The Rebbe shlit"a wrote the first letters, and afterwards conducted a lechayim gathering and delivered holy words.

Around 1:40 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a came over to the Heichal HaMesivta, "Yoel Moshe branch," to deliver the fourth sugya shiur on the sugya of "Ed Echad Ne'eman B'issurin" in preparation for the "Shabbos Shuva" derasha.

Around 2:40 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a came over to the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise for the "Chumash Seudah" of over 550 children from over 20 first-grade classes in our holy institutions in Kiryas Joel, where the children sang several songs, and the Rebbe shlit"a bestowed holy blessings and then distributed a gift, a bedtime Krias Shema, to the children.

By holy directive of the Rebbe shlit"a, an assembly took place in his holy home for the talmidim of the Mesivta, Shiur Bais. Around 7:00 the Rebbe arrived, and the heads of the yeshivos and the gashmius administration also appeared.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words with strong words of chizuk to the bochurim, and then announced to the bochurim about the new yeshiva that will open in the coming time -as reported at length here on Satmara Niyes- and then concluded with strong holy blessings.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Meir Yitzchak Glickman and R' Moshe Yuda Meir Biederman, at Keinor Dovid hall.

After Mincha, at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, the Rebbe shlit"a recited "Kiddush Levana" in front of his holy home.

Later that night, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy home, of his saintly grandfather zy"a, at the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel Bar"m Goldstein and R' Baruch Yuda Dresner.
HaRav R' Naftali Hertzka Friedman shlit"a and R' Dovid Yuda Silberstein.
