Monday, Parshas Nitzavim, Second Selichos 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 5:45, the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the recital of Selichos in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The baal tefilla was HaGaon Rabbi Aryeh Dov Kornbluh shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva Gedolah, Shiur Dalet. They finished at around 6:30, and the Rebbe returned to his holy home.

In the morning, before Shacharis, brisos took place.
For the newborn son of R' Zalman Leib Yazshef, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.
For the newborn son of R' Zalman Leib Stein, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Moshe Markowitz.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for Shlishi. After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar, and afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

Also entering in his private room were talmidim of our holy yeshiva, the Yeshiva Ketana 'Darkei HaTorah' in Monsey, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Shaul Yechezkel Perlstein shlit"a, who were tested by heart on Maseches Gittin. The Rebbe tested the bochurim for an extended time with visible nachas, and afterwards distributed writings to the bochurim and bestowed his holy blessings.

Hours for entering for private audiences ran from 5:45 in the afternoon until 11:45 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 7:40, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the hours of entry, the Amshinov Rebbe of America shlit"a visited to receive the Rebbe's holy blessings on the occasion of his move to America. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings for the new year, that they be inscribed and sealed immediately in the book of the righteous for a good life.
At 11:45, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
