Tuesday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Yoel Shlomo Zalman Katz took place, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Beis Medrash Rav Tuv together with the talmidim of Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah, Monsey branch.

Upon arriving at the beis medrash, the Rebbe heard a report from the contractor and from the gabbaim about the expansion of the holy premises and about the opening of the magnificent mikvah this Wednesday, as well as the rooms for davening which will begin with minyanim for Shacharis, Mincha and Maariv on weekdays.

Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Dovid Yeshaya Weissman.

After davening, the Rebbe blew shofar. Afterwards a lechayim gathering and siyum hazman took place. Several niggunim were sung, the Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed blessings upon the menahel, the rebbeim of the yeshiva, and all the bochurim. He then delivered holy words on the occasion of the siyum hazman and spoke in praise of the yeshiva, which has acquired a good name, and concluded with words of chizuk and his holy blessings for the bochurim. After the gathering, the Rebbe distributed a gift to the talmidim of the yeshiva, a set of the sefer Kedushas Yoel.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in the inner sanctum lasted from around 5:00 in the afternoon until 1:15 at night, in his holy home.

Around 7:40 the Rebbe davened Mincha, and Maariv at around 11:05, and afterwards continued receiving the public.
