Monday, Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Meir Friedlander took place, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the main beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the simcha of the bris milah of the Rebbe's grandson took place, the newborn son of Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Horowitz shlit"a, son of HaGaon Rabbi Yekusiel Yehuda shlit"a, dayan and member of the Machon L'Horaah, and son-in-law of the HaGaon Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a.
The Rebbe shlit"a served as sandek and mohel. The sandek standing: the grandfather, HaGaon Rabbi Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon shlit"a. Blessings: the grandfather, HaRav R' Yisroel Dachner shlit"a. "And his name shall be called in Israel" Shalom Dov, after the grandfather, the HaGaon Av Beis Din of Mildoy zt"l, father-in-law of the grandfather, R' Yisroel Dachner shlit"a.

After the bris, the crowd went over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov. Afterwards the seudas bris milah took place in Heichlei HaPolish. During the seudah, the baal simcha, the father of the baby shlit"a, delivered words of Torah, as did the grandfather, the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a. For Yom Libshah, the Rebbe honored his grandson Rabbi Dovid Teitelbaum shlit"a. Then the Rebbe delivered holy words. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the grandfather HaGaon Rabbi Yekusiel Yehuda shlit"a, and the family members with the Harachaman's. The seudah concluded at around 1:30.

At around 1:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe reviewed the second sugya shiur, the sugya of "Ein Shliach L'Davar Aveira," and prepared for the Shabbos Shuvah derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.
After the sugya, a group of bochurim from the Beirach Moshe branch entered privately to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing for their trip to the holy places in Europe.

In the afternoon, at the Rebbe's holy home, the start of the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, which is being written by the family of R' Yoel Dantziger a"h. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, and spoke about the scandal of the invalid mezuzos, and showed the sofer several invalid mezuzos. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and extended his holy blessings to the widow and the entire family.

Hours for entering the Rebbe's room were from around 6:00 until 1:00 after midnight.

At around 6:50 the Rebbe went over to the main beis medrash for the hachnasas sefer Torah, donated by the prominent R' Meir Wertheimer. The Rebbe took the Sefer Torah from the donor and led the holy dancing, and afterwards recited "L'Dovid Mizmor" as customary.
At around 8:10 the Rebbe davened Mincha at his holy home, in the Ohel Court.

During the hours of entry, HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Libush Bab"d shlit"a, Rosh Yeshivas Toras Chesed in London, visited privately. A pleasant conversation in Torah and Chassidus developed, and the Rebbe extended his holy blessings.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 1:00 at his holy home.
