Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Pinchas, Mevarchim Chodesh Menachem Av — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, at the vacation location in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.

This week, the talmidim of the Mesivta, Yoel Moshe branch, had the privilege of spending Shabbos B'tzeil HaKodesh.

On Erev Shabbos afternoon after the mikvah, the Rebbe lit a candle at the amud in the beis medrash in honor of the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin, the righteous tzadekes a"h, mother of the Malchus.
Afterward the guests greeted the Rebbe in the beis medrash, and the following bochurim presented answers to the question that the Rebbe had left in the Mesivta hall.
The bochur Yaakov son of R' Chaim Zev Falkowitz.
The bochur Bentzion Elimelech son of HaGaon R' Dovid Yitzchak Wertzberger.
The bochur Asher Lemel son of R' Levi Yitzchak Landau.
The bochur Yitzchak son of R' Shlomo Zalka Moskowitz.
The bochur Aharon son of R' Yosef Mendel Friedrich.
The bochur Binyamin Dovid son of R' Lipa Samet.

The Rebbe also heard several reports from the guests about the splendid learning program 'Mishnas Meir Selig', which the yeshiva students in Kiryas Joel carry out week after week with a special structure, and whose sound of Torah echoes throughout the entire Thursday night with great diligence, in the beis medrash 'Zichron Yechiel Michel' in Ichud Country, which is sponsored from the generosity of the distinguished philanthropist R' Fishel Rispler. The Rebbe had great nachas from this.

On Friday night at around 9:00, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis, approached the amud for Mincha, and after Aleinu said Kaddish in honor of the yahrzeit. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon R' Anshil Karpen shlit"a, rebbi in the Mesivta.

Davening ended at around 10:30. The crowd went over to wish a good Shabbos and to greet the Rebbe, and the Rebbe shlit"a went home to his holy residence.

At around 11:10 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Friday night tish in the beis medrash hall with the talmidim of the Mesivta and many guests, and began, in his holy way, 'Sholom Aleichem' with emotion and sweetness.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored various people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: HaGaon R' Levi Yitzchak Borzesky shlit"a, director of the Yoel Moshe branch; Menucha V'Simcha: Rabbi Hershel Ashkenazi shlit"a, son of the Stanislav Rebbe shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Now the name of the man of Israel who was slain, Zimri son of Salu," and explained it in the manner of derush on the topic of 'modaah rabbah l'oraisa.'

This week the Rebbe shlit"a told stories and incidents about his grandfather, the Yismach Moshe zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls on Wednesday, 28 Tammuz. Kah Ribon Olam: R' Berish Gross shlit"a (Montreal).

After the fruit, the Shalom Zachor took place at the grandson of R' Dovid Yuda Kahn, where Bayom Hashevi'i was led by HaGaon R' Anshil Karpen shlit"a, rebbi in the Mesivta. It ended at around 1:50.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered for davening at 9:40. Pesukei D'zimra: R' Elchonon Taub. The Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud for Shacharis, and sent the Av Beis Din of Reishis Chochma shlit"a to lead Chazaras HaShatz.

At around 2:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for the zemiros at the afternoon tish. Kugel and lechayim were brought in. The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros: Baruch Hashem: R' Yitzchak Teitelbaum (Kiryas Joel); Baruch Kel Elyon: R' Shlomo Yaakov Liberman.

Seudah Shlishis

The Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 8:50. Mincha: R' Yisroel Yaakov Brach (Kiryas Joel). Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Yaakov Chaim Moskowitz. Kohen: the bochur Avrohom Yehoshua Landau (Kiryas Joel); Levi: R' Levi Apfel; Shlishi: the bochur Eliezer Zusia Rosenberg (Boro Park); Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a; Gelilah: the bochur, son of HaGaon R' Elazar Nissan Strahli shlit"a (Boro Park).

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe shlit"a tasted dairy foods, a little butter with the challah, and drank coffee, following the minhag of his holy forebears zy"a to eat this one Shabbos during the Bein Hametzarim.

In the Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a spoke on the verse "Therefore say: Behold, I give him My covenant of peace," and explained that one must purify the limbs from the desires of this world, and the main thing is guarding the eyes. Through a flaw in matters of holiness one comes, chas v'shalom, to idolatry, and this was the cause of the destruction of Tziyon and Yerushalayim. When these matters will be rectified, "with fire You destroyed it, and with fire You will in the future rebuild it."

Before bentching the Rebbe spoke about the source of the minhag to eat dairy foods on one Shabbos during the Bein Hametzarim. Afterward the Rebbe shlit"a recited the blessing over the cup.

The Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud for Maariv on Motzei Shabbos. After Havdalah the crowd went over to wish a good week, and the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak, son of HaGaon R' Nosson Dov Schwartz shlit"a, a maggid shiur in our kehilla in Kiryas Joel, presented an answer to the question that the Rebbe had left in the yeshiva. It ended at 11:20.

At around 12:45 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for the Melave Malka in honor of the yahrzeit this week of his grandfather, the Yismach Moshe zy"a. The Rebbe tasted mezonos and drank lechayim, and wished the congregation "May his merit protect us." The zemiros for Melave Malka and the niggunim of galus and geulah were sung, and then the Rebbe shlit"a related holy stories for an extended time. It ended at around 1:40.

After the Melave Malka the bochur Shalom Yoel son of R' Chaim Moshe Feder presented an answer to the question that the Rebbe had left in the yeshiva.
