"Two-Day Blitz Campaign"
Today, Sunday and Monday, 20–21 Kislev 5781

To our dear and esteemed friends, the people of our community

The benefactors of our holy institutions, each one blessed in his good name

After many weeks of responsible meetings for the benefit of the public and the individual, as soon as it was decided that, due to the current situation, the central Seudas Hodaah and annual dinner for the benefit of our holy institutions will not take place, it was decided to approach the public with a mighty, first-ever "Two-Day Blitz Campaign," which will include the entire public of our community, the parents of the students of the institutions, and generous donors, during the days of the salvation of our holy Rebbe zy"a, this coming Sunday and Monday, Parshas Vayeishev, 20 and 21 Kislev, IY"H, at which the public will join with their annual amounts on such elevated days, and merit the blessing of Hashem in the great merit of the founder of the institutions, zy"a.
As we have already mentioned publicly, the decision came after recognizing that holding a large gathering in these days is connected with various risks of chillul Hashem, and after examining all the options, it was concluded that it would be impossible to arrange here in the city a large event, even only in the form of a shulchan hatahor, without it drawing the participation of many thousands of members of our kehilla who rejoice in the salvation of our holy Rebbe zy"a and who come to gather in the shade of the holy faith of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a. Therefore we must fulfill the Mishnah "calculate the reward of a mitzvah against its loss," and show restraint for our benefit and for the benefit of the public.
But dear people of our community, may they live:
This decision must not, Heaven forbid, come at the expense of the thousands of boys and girls who depend on our help!
Therefore we have arranged the "Two-Day Blitz Campaign" to raise the huge sums that we must receive from the public to cover the annual deficit in the multi-million dollar budget, and we truly must rely on the help of every individual.
Now is the time when you will show your fervent love and support for the "Rebbe's holy institutions" and ensure their continued power of holiness, immediately and for generations!
For this campaign, rich "Mesibos L'Chaim" will take place in honor of the salvation of our holy and pure Rebbe zy"a, this coming Sunday and Monday, 20 and 21 Kislev, throughout all the morning hours, in the great batei medrash of our holy kehilla: the Beis HaMedrash HaGadol (Hooper St.), Beis Medrash Beis Menachem Tzvi (Wallabout St.), and Beis Medrash Berach Moshe (Skillman St.).
In honor of the campaign, we have put effort into several raffles, in addition to the annual "V'nasnu Goral" raffle in which the winner receives back 25 times the amount of his donation over the entire year, and there is the possibility of winning the astronomical sum of $25,000! We have also arranged another "ten raffles" for "ten winners," with $1,000 worth per raffle, for every donation of $360 toward supporting the institutions.
For your convenience, we have set up a 24-hour automated "donations line" that is ready to receive your donation at all hours throughout the blitz campaign. Call the number: 718-362-1404 #0 and leave your donation, or leave a message and the institution's askanim will come to collect your generous donation for the support of "the Rebbe's institutions."
You can also call the chief askanim directly, R' Nesanel Braun: 917-574-6768 or R' Yoel Mertz: 347-452-1411, and they will come personally to collect your donation, or arrange it through quick pay email: qpcuta@gmail.com. You can also bring your donation to the front desk of the central office at 76 Rutledge St. between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Dear people of our community, parents of the boys and girls of the institutions, may they live!
Our holy Rebbe zy"a gave away his holy life for us and for our generations, to establish proper and holy institutions where our children would be educated in the ways of Torah and yiras Shamayim. Today is the time when we repay him for his toil and holy work! Answer the call of his faithful emissaries and join with large sums in the current "Blitz Campaign"!
Call the automated "donations line": 718-362-1404 #0
May his great merit suffice to repay you with all the wishes of your hearts for good, sons and grandsons occupied with Torah and mitzvos, with joy and nachas from your own children, for long days and good years, with good health, in wealth and happiness and all good forever.
With great respect
The institutions' administration – Dinner Committee.
