Monday, Parshas Korach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Aharon Pollak, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the hall of the Yeshiva Ketana "Snif Zera Kodesh," under the direction of HaRav R' Yoel Asher Weider shlit"a, in the new building, "Kepetch Building," on Karlsburg Street, donated by HaRav R' Shimon Moshe Kepetch, a member of the mosdos' board, on the occasion of the dedication of the building and the affixing of a mezuzah.

Upon arrival, the Rebbe walked around to all the floors and looked over the mikvah and the simcha hall that are being built for the neighborhood.
Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Levi Yitzchak Dovid Landau.
The bochur Menachem Weiss.
The bochur Yoel Berish Eckstein.
The bochur Shimon Landau.
The baal tefillah was HaRav R' Shimon Moshe Kepetch, and during the Torah reading the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the entrance of the beis medrash hall and honored the donor, HaRav R' Shimon Moshe, with affixing a mezuzah on the second doorway. Afterwards a lechayim gathering took place in the hall of the beis medrash with the participation of the members of the mosdos' board and the donors of the classes. The manager shlit"a spoke, as did the donor of the building, HaRav R' Shimon Moshe, who first recited the Shehecheyanu blessing with Hashem's Name and Kingship. Several nigunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and the talmid of the yeshiva, the bochur Yosha son of Hersh Ber Meisels, made a siyum on Meseches Makkos, and HaRav R' Shimon Moshe recited Kaddish. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly blessed the distinguished donor, the members of the mosdos' board, and the donors of the classes, the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim of the yeshiva and all the bochurim. He then delivered words of kodesh, in the course of which he expressed the great joy of the residents of Kiryas Joel that yet another building is being added for the yeshiva ketana, and the tremendous merit of the distinguished donor to donate a building for Torah and davening, where there will be a yeshiva ketana in addition to the beis medrash Rav Tov that is already located in the building. This is aside from the building that R' Shimon Moshe already donated for the mosdos. "The buildings one donates are the true wealth, and with them one remains forever." He concluded with warm blessings for the distinguished donor and for the entire gathering. It ended at around 1:00.

From there the Rebbe went to pay a return visit to HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Shevet HaLevi Rebbe and Av Beis Din of Zichron Meir shlit"a, at the guest residence in Kiryas Joel in the home of HaRav R' Pinchas Shapira. A pleasant conversation in Torah and Chassidus took place. The Shevet HaLevi Rebbe honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe bestowed his blessings and gave as a gift his new sefer, Lev Aharon Drushim, Bamidbar.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the hall of the Yeshiva, Snif Divrei Yoel, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

In the early evening hours, the spiritual and material administration of Machane Beis Rochel entered for a private audience to receive a blessing on the occasion of the approaching summer, as they prepare IY"H to open the camp this coming Sunday with close to three thousand girls, bli ayin hara, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.
At around 7:15, the Rebbe arrived at the beis medrash "Ohel Basya" in the Highland Mills neighborhood for the hachnasas sefer Torah donated by HaRav R' Levi Yitzchak Borzesky shlit"a, director of the Yeshiva Snif Vayoel Moshe, together with his son the bochur Yosef Tzvi. The Rebbe performed the holy dancing and honored HaRav R' Levi Yitzchak shlit"a and his son the bochur Yosef Tzvi with dancing, and afterwards the Rebbe recited Ledavid Mizmor as is customary. On the way out, the Rebbe heard a report from the donor and patron of the beis medrash, HaRav R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz, chairman of the mosdos' board in Williamsburg and a resident of the neighborhood, about the expansion of the boundaries of kedusha in the surrounding area and about the morning and evening kollel that functions in the beis medrash for the glory of Hashem's Name.

Afterwards, at around 7:40, the Rebbe arrived at the beis medrash Beis Boruch of our holy kehilla for the hachnasas sefer Torah donated by HaRav R' Mordechai Hersh Farkash in memory of his son R' Yaakov a"h. The Rebbe performed the holy dancing and honored his son HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yoel shlit"a, the rav of the beis medrash, and the donor HaRav R' Mordechai Hersh with dancing. During their dancing, the Rebbe danced with the orphans, the children of R' Yaakov Farkash a"h, and afterwards recited Ledavid Mizmor as is customary, and the orphans recited Kaddish.

At around 8:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ihel Court. Afterwards, there were times of private audiences in the inner chamber until 12:30 at night.

During the times of private audiences, the administration and askanim of the kehilla and mosdos of the holy city of Yerushalayim, who are visiting New York these days, entered together with the Yerushalayim administration in the U.S. They brought warm greetings from the kehilla and the holy mosdos in Yerushalayim and discussed various topics with the Rebbe concerning the kehilla and mosdos. The Rebbe sent back with them a greeting of peace for the members of the community in the holy city of Yerushalayim.
Then, at about 12:30, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
