Tuesday, Parshas Shlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Vayoel Moshe branch. After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 12, verse 2.

During the afternoon hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse of our holy kehilla. Afterward, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, the Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

In the afternoon, at around 6:30, the Rebbe traveled into Williamsburg. Immediately upon arrival, the Rebbe went to the Kesser Ritzel halls, where the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the chassan the bochur Dov Alter Baruch, son of R' Avrohom Yosha Gefen, with the kallah, daughter of R' Pinchas Frankel.

Afterward, the weekly yechidus hours took place in the inner sanctum until 12:20 at night. At around 9:25, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

During the yechidus hours, the Rebbe received a visit from the Shevet HaLevi Rebbe, Av Beis Din of Zichron Meir, shlit"a. A warm, friendly conversation ensued about Torah and Chassidus and stories of tzaddikim; the Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

Also entering was HaGaon R' Yoel Moshe Mordechai HaKohen Katz shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Vienna shlit"a, on the occasion of the bar mitzvah simcha of his son, may he live, next week. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon the Gaon shlit"a and upon his son, the bar mitzvah bochur, and gave him as a gift a drashos sefer, Lev Aharon on Pirkei Avos.

Also held was the siyum of the writing of the letters for the Sefer Torah being written by Yeshivas Binyan Olam. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, then drank a lechayim and warmly blessed the yeshiva's administration and the donors.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 12:30. After Maariv, the Rebbe went over to the Kesser Ritzel halls to grace the wedding simcha of the chassan the bochur Dov Alter Baruch Gefen. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and blessed the chassan, the mechutanim and the entire assembly, and then danced a mitzvah dance before the kallah. Afterward, the Rebbe danced with the chassan and the mechutanim. After the dancing, the Rebbe warmly bid farewell and blessed the chassan, and from there the Rebbe traveled home to his holy home in Kiryas Joel.
