At around 2:40 the Rebbe arrived at the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where he was welcomed by the children of the Talmud Torah with beautiful rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe distributed a siddur to every child, then drank l'chaim, gave blessings to the children and parents, and delivered brief divrei kodesh in honor of the chassanim of Mikra. In this connection, the Rebbe praised the askanim who organized the Kinus Nshei Yisroel, who came to discuss it and accepted all the directives so that it should be done in the best possible way. The Rebbe concluded with his holy blessing to the entire assembly. It ended at around 3:30.

The Rebbe then walked over to the Beis Rochel building, where an assembly of the dayanim took place together with the directors and the spiritual leadership of our holy mosdos. There they discussed the regulations established at the Kinus Mesorasenu last Monday, Parshas Bechukosai, for all parents of our holy mosdos. HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Friedman shlit"a, dayan of our holy kehilla, spoke, and afterward the Rebbe delivered divrei kodesh and guidance. Upon arriving at the building, the Rebbe looked around our beis medrash on 10th Avenue, located in the building. The Rebbe went around the beis medrash, the Heichal HaTorah and the women's section, and looked over the plans to expand the beis medrash hall. Then the Rebbe went up to the yeshiva and affixed a mezuzah on the entrance to the beis medrash. A lechayim gathering followed, several nigunim were sung, and the director shlit"a spoke. The Rebbe drank l'chaim, wished the rebbeim of the yeshiva and all the bochurim well, and delivered divrei kodesh. First he gave a pilpul on the sugya being learned in the yeshiva, asked the bochurim a question and asked them to seek answers, and then delivered words of guidance and chizuk. It ended at around 5:15.

The Rebbe then went to the lodging at the home of R' Moshe Kahana.

This will help that people not talk during davening and will be able to concentrate on the davening. He spoke in praise of the beis medrash and in praise of the two distinguished dayanim of the beis medrash, and gave special blessings to the baal simcha, the donor of the Sefer Torah. He noted that the beis medrash is named for the baal simcha's father, who surely has nachas ruach in the heavenly treasuries. The Rebbe blessed and praised the baal simcha's son-in-law, R' Avrohom Brach, patron of the beis medrash: 'This is already the third beis medrash that R' Avrohom has built, and each of the three is a precious corner, a glorious nook of Torah, avodah and gemilus chasadim. Likewise, each beis medrash is especially outfitted with splendid mikvaos, which helps people learn Torah in purity.'
