A genuine elevation and a Kiddush Hashem this Thursday, as a record-breaking "one hundred thousand" paper petitions are hand-delivered by a distinguished delegation of emissaries of Klal Yisroel, esteemed rabbonim and leading askanim of the "United Klal Yisroel" petition drive, to the "Education Department" in the "Albany corridors." Klal Yisroel's fiery opposition to the education guidelines has culminated in an incredible, enormous show of unity, and brought together high-ranking government representatives, who observed the astonishing spectacle, with speechless wonder, of such a huge number of petitions, which is breaking history in New York City.

An impressive sensation as the delegation stands in front of the building while handing over the petitions from dozens of boxes, drawing a rush of members of the press. Speaking were HaRav Asher Schwab shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Degel HaTorah Monsey, the askan HaRav Bentzion Wieder, and HaRav Yaakov Shapiro shlit"a, Rav of Kehal Or Avigdor in Bayswater, who proclaimed the message of the petition.

Only a few days remain until the deadline, and these are critical days for New York Jewry. Fresh camps of askanim have been designated for all the Jewish neighborhoods to get "every single" Jew to join in writing letters to the government stating that we will not tolerate the new guidelines, that we will not budge from the mesorah; in the path of our fathers and teachers we shall walk, and from it we shall not move!
