Thursday, Parshas Emor — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the hall of the Yeshiva Ketana, Zera Kodesh branch, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Asher Vider shlit"a, which is stationed in the Rapshitz beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Lipa Falkowitz.

Afterwards, the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Baal Zera Kodesh of Rapshitz zy"a. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochur well. Afterwards, several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe delivered words of holy Torah and guidance, followed by stories and anecdotes about the Baal HaHilula, and concluded with his holy blessing to all the bochurim and to the host of the yeshiva, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Elchanan Horowitz shlit"a, Rav of the Rapshitz beis medrash.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a went upstairs for a visit to the home of HaRav HaTzaddik R' Elchanan shlit"a, where a pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings.

In the evening, around 8:20, the Rebbe arrived at the Beis Medrash HaGadol, on the second floor next to the ezras nashim, where the affixing of the mezuzah took place for the new offices of our holy kehilla and its many departments. The Rebbe looked around the place and then davened Mincha. After Mincha, a lechayim gathering took place. HaRav HaChassid R' Dovid Eckstein addressed the gathering as president of our holy kehilla, presenting the plans to further expand and beautify the Beis Medrash HaGadol. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and distributed shirayim to the gabbaim and askanim of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, delivered brief holy words and words of blessing to the heads of the kehilla, and spoke with esteem about the askanim of our holy kehilla. Afterwards, the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah at the central office of our holy kehilla and looked around at the new offices of our holy kehilla and its departments, among them the Kviyus Ittim program, the Vaad HaKashrus, the Bais Neeman program, and more.
It concluded around 9:00.

Afterwards, there were times of entry for private audiences until 11:45 at night, at his holy residence on Uhel Ct.

During the private audiences, the Rebbe's mechutan, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Meir Itamar shlit"a of Trebisov, son of the Kretchnif Yerushalayim Rebbe shlit"a, entered the Rebbe's private room.

Around 10:15, the Rebbe davened Maariv, and after Maariv went to the amud for Sefiras HaOmer, and then continued receiving the public.
