Sunday, Parshas Kedoshim, 1 Iyar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Aryeh, son of R' Meir Herskowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the main beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The twin sons of R' Yoshe Kahn.
The bochur Bentzion Mezei.
The bochur Menachem Zev Stern.

The Rebbe shlit"a led the davening for Hallel, and was called up as the fourth aliyah during the Torah reading. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash. Afterwards, the Rebbe walked home.

In the evening, at around 8:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court. Afterwards, there were yechidus hours (entry times to the Rebbe) until 12:30 after midnight.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim room in his holy home for the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel, son of R' Meir Markowitz - R' Yaakov Wiesel.
R' Chaim Pollak - R' Moshe Hersh Klein.

During the yechidus hours, the Rebbe also examined the chassan Mordechai Shmuel HaKohen Binder of the holy city Yerushalayim, one of the outstanding talmidim of the holy Mesivta, on all of Hilchos Shabbos.

At around 12:30 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home, and afterwards approached the amud for the counting of the Omer.
