The final days of Pesach, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Thursday, Erev Yom Tov, in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a made the eruv tavshilin and gave a zechus through the house bochur, the chassan Alter Baruch Gefen.

In the evening at around 8:40 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash and approached the amud for Mincha, and began Hodu as customary. Maariv: HaGaon R' Yosef Dovid Levy shlit"a. At "Emunah kol zos" it was sung as customary, and the Rebbe approached the amud for Sefirah. After davening everyone went over to wish a gut Yom Tov. It ended at 9:25.

Around 12:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for the seder in the Great Beis Medrash. Lifting the cup for Kiddush: HaGaon R' Yosef Hersh Sofer shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our kehilla.

During the tish, songs of praise and thanksgiving in honor of Yom Tov were sung. During the zemiros, the Rebbe honored his grandson Rabbi Lipa shlit"a (Yerushalayim), son of his son-in-law HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of the beis medrash, the Beirach Moshe shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Vayosha Hashem bayom hahu es Yisroel miyad Mitzrayim," and resolved the contradiction in Rashi regarding which day the Jewish children said the shira: that the Yidden sang shira twice before Hashem, once for the miracle itself, and a second time for the zechus of being able to say shira. For this alone we must praise Hashem. And today, when we have the zechus and the day to say the same holy words, we ask Hashem, "Vihyu no imreinu l'ratzon lifnei Adon Kol," and that all kinds of good blessings be bestowed.

After the Torah, they continued with song and zemiros in honor of the day. The Rebbe shlit"a stood up and began "Vayosha," and danced together with the huge crowd the Shiras HaYam, with holy dancing and fiery enthusiasm for an extended time.

Birkas Hamazon: the son-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi, the Rav of the beis medrash, the Beirach Moshe shlit"a. It ended at 1:55.
