Tuesday, Parshas Acharei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Eliyahu Meir Gutman.
The bochur Shlomo Yoel Lebowitz.
After davening the Nasi was read, and the Rebbe recited the Yehi Ratzon as customary.

After davening, the Weinstock brothers, the philanthropists, entered the inner sanctum in the Rebbe's private room for the signing of the documents for the distinguished privilege of the kitchen, which they purchased in the new talmud torah building, 'Binyan Klein,' in our holy mosdos in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe signed the documents together with the donors and bestowed of his blessings.

Afterward the Rebbe went down to the Heichal HaTorah, the Heichal Tzvi V'Yitzchak Rosenberg, where the Rebbe looked around for an extended time at the packed hall of those learning in the Bein HaZmanim yeshiva, with great nachas.

Then the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence, and a lovely conversation developed about the questions of chametz on Pesach that arise when traveling by airplane during Chol HaMoed Pesach.

In the evening at around 8:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ohel Court. Afterward there were yechidus hours in the inner sanctum until 12:45 at night, when the Rebbe davened Maariv.
