Therefore We Are Obligated to Give Thanks

The heads and administration of our holy kehilla in Eretz Yisroel — Yerushalayim, Bnei Brak, and Beit Shemesh — express a heartfelt Yasher koach on behalf of the members of our community residing in Eretz Yisroel for the beautiful distribution that was given out by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a for Yom Tov Pesach haba aleinu l'tovah, for the flock of his pasture, all the members of our community living in Eretz Yisroel.

As is known, over the last several years the Rebbe shlit"a has taken upon himself the burden of sending to Eretz Yisroel, for Yom Tov, a large and distinguished support in the amount of 1,900 shekels ($590) for every family, to ease the Yom Tov for the members of our community, and in this regard he has also urged the philanthropists of chutz la'aretz to contribute to this important distribution, which is close to his pure heart.

This year in particular, this distinguished support was especially close to the pure heart of our father and shepherd, the Rebbe shlit"a, and was of great importance, due to the terrible inflation sweeping the world, when the prices of all products keep rising to an extraordinary degree, making it very difficult for a family to bring in the Yom Tov. The distribution was received with great joy by our community members, since through this large support it will, b'ezras Hashem, ease bringing in the Yom Tov.
