Monday, Parshas Tahara — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Before davening, the bris of the newborn son of R' Yoel Glantz took place, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur Menachem Dovid Moskowitz (Williamsburg).

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening the Nasi was read and the Rebbe recited the Yehi Ratzon as is customary. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.
R' Eliezer Hersh Neiman – R' Yoel Moshe Yitzchak Herskowitz, at Kinor David hall.
R' Menachem Yehuda Ungar – R' Yekusiel Yeshua Budick, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At around 8:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home. Afterwards, there were entrance times until 12:00 at night.

During the entrance times, HaRav Yaakov Dov Bloch shlit"a, the chief rabbi of Kiev, Ukraine, came for a visit. He thanked the Rebbe for stirring up the world, and for all the askanim of our kehilla who, on a holy mission, threw themselves in with substantial funds for the rescue effort. He also delivered a full report on the widespread local rescue operations of the Ukraine Rescue Committee, and discussed with the Rebbe the further plans for the rescue efforts on a daily basis.

Several leaders of the Kiryas Joel kehilla also came in to discuss various communal matters. Among other things, the Rebbe shlit"a determined that the new beis medrash on Be'er Sheva Street in the Yoel Moshe neighborhood, which IY"H will be opened this Shabbos, should bear the name "Beis Medrash 'Beis Elazar' of Kehal Yitav Lev," in memory of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Elazar Klein zt"l, Av Beis Din of Be'er Sheva, the grandfather of the benefactor of the beis medrash, the distinguished philanthropist R' Akiva Tzvi Klein.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his holy home of the following mechutanim.
HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Zwebel shlit"a, Rosh Kehilla (Williamsburg), and HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Yosef Yehuda Ackerman shlit"a (Kiryas Joel).
R' Aharon Shlomo Apfel (Williamsburg) and R' Yoel Dovid Dresner (Kiryas Joel).

At around 12:00, the Rebbe davened Maariv in his holy home.
