You shall place upon their heads a crown of fine gold

In the past few minutes, a rare appointment ceremony is taking place at the holy home of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a for "twelve new morei tzedek" in the Beis Horaah of Kiryas Joel, to adjudicate and issue halachic rulings for the residents of the city of Kiryas Joel and the surrounding areas. With this, the power of halachic ruling in Kiryas Joel is doubled, under the guidance of HaGaon HaGadol the Av Beis Din shlit"a, to twenty-four morei horaah shlit"a.

The distinguished, outstanding talmidei chachamim and G-d-fearing men, among the elite of our holy kehilla, are: the Chaver Beis Din HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Yosef Rokeach shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Kol Eliyahu; HaGaon R' Aryeh Asher Indig shlit"a, moreh horaah of Beis Medrash Maharsha of our holy kehilla; HaGaon R' Yoel Yitzchak Stern shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Dinov; HaGaon R' Yosef Shmuel Rottenberg shlit"a; HaGaon R' Yitzchak Shalom Friedman shlit"a; HaGaon R' Yitzchak Eizik Fuchs shlit"a; HaGaon R' Yechezkel Lax shlit"a; HaGaon R' Yitzchak Eizik Glick shlit"a; HaGaon R' Yosef Shmuel Berkowitz shlit"a; HaGaon R' Alexander Yekusiel Landau shlit"a; HaGaon R' Shlomo Tzvi Eckstein shlit"a; and HaGaon R' Efraim Fishel Berkowitz shlit"a.
