Sunday, Parshas Tzav — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the following brissim took place.
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Yisroel Meir Acker, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Naftali Yuda Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Moshe Yuda Spitzer, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The bochur Yosef Amram Markowitz.
The bochur Yoel Goldstein.
The bochur Yissachar Mordechai Lichtman.
The bochur Chaim Elazar Teller.
After davening, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon at around 5:20, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to his holy home on Ohel St., where a Sheva Brachos simcha took place in our holy courts at a private gathering, hosted by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a especially for the heads and askanim of the "Agudas Yoshvei HaOhel, v'Chaburas Torasam Umnasam" under the auspices of the kollelim of avreichim of our kehilla throughout Greater New York, which was founded during the uplifting "Shabbos Ameilei HaTorah" this past Shabbos Parshas Toldos 5782, may it be for good.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha and then entered the Sheva Brachos seudah in the hall of his holy home, where the Rebbe washed for the seudah.
HaGaon Rabbi Wolf Aharon Teller shlit"a, one of the heads of the kollelim in Kiryas Joel, opened with words of introduction, describing the activities carried out by the askanim to raise the Keren HaTorah.

After the fish course, the Rebbe said lechayim and delivered words of blessing and strong words of chizuk about the merit the askanim have in raising up the Keren HaTorah. During the seudah, the heads of the chaburos had the merit of asking the Rebbe shlit"a questions on many matters pertaining to the greater glory and strengthening of Torah, and the Rebbe answered and spoke at length with good reason and insight.

After the seudah, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words in the manner of a derasha on the topic of marriage, and spoke for a lengthy time about the importance of being a zocheh es harabim, and about how the activities carried out by the askanim for the more than 2,000 kollel learners have an influence on the entire kehilla, and concluded with abundant blessings. Afterward, everyone rose to dance for a lengthy time.

For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the Chaver Beis Din HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Dov shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash Ohel Feiga, with the first blessings; the Chaver Beis Din HaGaon Rabbi Baruch shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash Beirach Moshe, with the final blessing; and HaGaon Rabbi Yoel shlit"a, rav of the beis medrash Beis Baruch, with the last. It ended at around 8:00.

At around 8:15 the Rebbe shlit"a went over to our great beis medrash, where special entry times were held for those who participated with tremendous sums, approximately 1,800, for the rescue of Ukrainian Jewry, which continued until 9:45. Dozens of men, elders along with youths, baalei batim and avreichim of the kollel, entered and personally handed the money to the Rebbe shlit"a and received his holy blessings. Several groups of bochurim, students of our holy yeshiva, also entered; they had pooled together the sum of 1,800 and handed the money to the Rebbe and received his holy blessings. Afterward there were entry times in the inner sanctum of his holy home until around 12:15.

During the entry times, many more dozens of men entered and handed over tremendous sums for the rescue of Ukrainian Jewry. The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at 11:30 and afterward continued receiving the public.
