Wednesday, Parshas Vayikra — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, the Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa, one of the yeshiva students, in his private room, and at 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
HaRav Dovid, son of R' Moshe Eckstein shlit"a - HaRav Yoel Gruber shlit"a, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Levi Aharon Oesterreicher - R' Yoel Berish Glick, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there were reception hours in the inner chamber from 8:15 until 10:40, and afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a went to the 'Olmei Ateres' halls on Kaznitz Street to grace the bar mitzvah celebration of a grandson of the Beirach Moshe zy"a, the bochur, son of HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tiszanov, Kiryas Joel. HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo shlit"a delivered words of Torah. The Rebbe drank l'chayim and extended his holy blessings to the bar mitzvah bochur and the entire family, and a beautiful conversation took place about the minhag of delivering a drasha on 7 Adar, and the customs of our holy Rebbes of the houses of Sighet and Zanz.

Around 11:15 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
