Thursday, Parshas Pekudei, 1 Adar II, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning before Shacharis, the bris took place of the newborn son of R' Yoel Neiman, where the Rebbe shlit"a served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta "Branch Berach Moshe." Before Hallel, the Rebbe shlit"a approached the amud, and during the Torah reading he was called up as the fourth aliyah, and afterwards he recited Birkas HaGomel upon returning from his uplifting holy journey to Manchester.

After davening, a lechayim was held in the Heichal of the yeshiva in honor of the siyum on Shas of the bochur Aharon, son of HaGaon R' Zalman Leib Filaf shlit"a, one of the outstanding students of the yeshiva. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the bochur who completed, the rebbeim, and all the bochurim.

In the late morning, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Heichal of Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah - Chester branch, where the Rebbe extended his pure table in honor of Rosh Chodesh. The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and for Birkas Hamazon (Borchi Nafshi) the Rebbe honored HaGaon R' Naftali Schneebalg shlit"a, a rebbi in the yeshiva, and afterwards delivered holy words of Torah and chizuk to the bochurim. Before bentching, the exceptionally gifted Rabbi Hershel Friedman, the mashgiach of the yeshiva, entertained with words of humor in honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar. For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored the yeshiva's administrator, Rabbi Shlomo Leib Weinberger shlit"a. On his way out, the Rebbe looked over the construction work on the new dormitory building for the yeshiva and the mikvah that will be built for the area.

In the afternoon at 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Yehoshua Oestreicher (London) - R' Yuda Friedman, at Kinor David hall.
R' Naftali Hirtzka Friedman shlit"a - R' Dovid Yuda Silberstein shlit"a, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

Later in the evening, there were times for entering the Rebbe's room (Kodesh Penimah) from 8:15 until 11:50.

During the entry times, the commencement of the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, which is being written by R' Gedalya Mattisyahu Lenerowitz in memory of his son a"h, together with the mispallelim of Beis Medrash Divrei Yoel of our holy kehilla in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe wrote in the first letters and then drank a lechayim and warmly wished R' Gedalya, HaGaon R' Dovid Yitzchak Wertzberger shlit"a, the moreh tzedek of the beis medrash, and the entire tzibur.

HaGaon R' Yehoshua Nosson Pfeiffer shlit"a, rav of Beis Medrash Birchas Menachem in Boro Park, also entered Kodesh Penimah to receive the Rebbe's blessings in honor of the wedding of his son, the chassan. Mazel tov! A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon the chassan and the entire family.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim in his holy home, at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Mendel Ber Weider - R' Yoel Weider.

Around 11:50, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.

After Maariv, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Heichal of Yeshivas Ohel Torah, under the leadership of HaGaon R' Shmuel Tzvi Munk shlit"a, in the Galilos section of Kiryas Joel.

The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the yeshiva building and recited the blessing. Afterwards a lechayim was held. The Rebbe engaged in Torah discussion for an extended time with the roshei yeshiva on the sugya of "matana al menas l'hachzir," which the yeshiva is currently learning. Then the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the roshei yeshiva and the bochurim.
