Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Ki Sisa — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

On Friday night at around 6:10, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Avrohom Hertz Herskowitz.

The davening concluded at around 7:40. After davening, the appeal for the Talmud Torah in the holy city of Tzfas took place, the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe shlit"a went home.

At around 8:50 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Friday night seudah in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidim of the Mesivta, and began, as is his holy custom, 'Sholom Aleichem' with emotion and sweetness. The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the statement of Chazal, "The Holy One, Blessed is He, knew that Haman would one day weigh out shekalim against Yisroel; therefore He preceded their shekalim to his shekalim," and explained it in the manner of a derush, in the topic of whether the word 'es' is expounded.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored others with the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen; Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

In the Torah he said, the Rebbe shlit"a addressed the Midrash "Moshe found difficulty with the half-shekel," and explained that in galus even teshuva out of fear is considered like teshuva out of love, and intentional sins become merits; with a little introspection of a Jew in awe and fear, it is a complete teshuva, and Hashem raises the glory of Yisroel.

After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a gut voch, and afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a was escorted out with song and music with 'Ki Malachav Yetzaveh Lach' in honor of the upcoming holy journey to Manchester this coming Tuesday. The davening concluded at 8:35.
