Tuesday, Parshas Ki Sisa - Purim Katan, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Yeshiva L'Tze'irim in Williamsburg. After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in honor of the day, at which warm niggunim were sung. The Rebbe drank lechayim and gave blessings to all the roshei yeshiva and teachers of Torah and to all the bochurim. Afterwards the Rebbe delivered a longer, intricate discourse in honor of Purim Katan, combined with the sugya of "an positive commandment overrides a negative commandment." After a few more joyous niggunim were sung, the Rebbe left the yeshiva and traveled home to his holy residence on Hooper St.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe shlit"a appointed, by telephone, a committee for technology matters within our holy kehilla in Beit Shemesh, at a meeting that took place in the home of the Rabbinic chassid R' Tzvi Akiva Breitstein, chairman of the kehilla and mosdos administration in Beit Shemesh.

At 5:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy residence. Afterwards the directors of the Talmud Torah in Williamsburg entered the inner sanctum as emissaries of the Tashbar, to receive holy coins for the children who last year brought in beautiful sums for the holy mosdos on Purim day.

At around 6:00 the Rebbe arrived at the Continental halls for the holy tish in honor of Purim Katan together with nearly seven hundred talmidim of the 7 yeshivos ketanos of our holy mosdos in Williamsburg.

The Rebbe washed for the seudah in honor of the day, and the foods were served as on every Yom Tov. During the tish, uplifting and devotional niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe delivered words of Torah three times, in honor of the day and words of guidance and preparation toward the days of Purim.
After the last words of Torah, joyous niggunim were sung and the Rebbe stood up and danced for an extended time in honor of the day.
For Birkas HaMazon the Rebbe honored his son, HaGaon Rabbi, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Mivtzar HaTorah.
After bentching at around 7:45 the Rebbe went back home to his holy residence, and the weekly times for receiving the public began immediately, until 11:30 at night.

Among others, the Rabbi, Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Kiryat Vizhnitz, Bnei Brak, entered for a private audience on the occasion of the wedding of a son, which will take place b'shaah tovah u'm'tzuyenes next week, and on the occasion of the engagement of a daughter b'shaah tovah u'm'tzuyenes. The new chassan also came, along with the mechutan, the Rabbi R' Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the HaGaon of Nepelimetz shlit"a.

After a lovely conversation about the connection of the Heitev Lev zt"l with the Toras Chaim of Kosov zt"l, the Rebbe shlit"a warmly blessed both chasanim and the mechutanim.

At around ten o'clock the Rebbe davened Maariv in his holy residence on Hooper St., and then continued receiving the public.
