Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
At around 9:30 the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the home of R' Wolf Glick, chairman of the committee for publishing the Rebbe's seforim, on the occasion of the wedding of his grandson, mazel tov, where the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the chassan, the mechutanim and the grandfathers.
From there the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Boro Park for the tenaim celebration of his grandson, the chassan, ny"u, son of the mechutan HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, which took place in the Beis Medrash of Brizdovitz in Boro Park.
At around 11:15 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived. The mechutan HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of the Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a, came forward, joyous melodies were sung, and the Rebbe shlit"a arranged the tenaim. The Rebbe then delivered words of holy Torah in honor of the simcha, and afterwards the tenaim were read.
After the breaking of the plate, the assembled came over to wish mazel tov, and then the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his blessings upon the chassan, the mechutanim and the grandfathers. He then honored the chassan with reciting the "pshetl" and indicated that it should be sung as customary. Afterwards the Rebbe joined in a mitzvah dance with all the mechutanim.
On his way out the Rebbe wished mazel tov to the kallah's side, and at about 12:15 the Rebbe shlit"a traveled back to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
