Thursday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris took place of the newborn son of R' Yoel Menachem Markowitz, where the Rebbe shlit"a served as sandek and mohel.
And the bris of the newborn son of R' Avrohom Acker, where the Rebbe shlit"a served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Berach Moshe." During the Torah reading, the Rebbe was called up for shlishi. After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 9, verse 1.

In the afternoon at around 4:00, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol, where the annual "Yom HaIchud" took place during the days of Shovavim, with all the talmidim of the Machina L'Yeshiva class, 9th grade, of our holy mosdos from all over the Greater New York area.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha together with the hundreds of 9th-grade talmidim, and after Mincha the Rebbe went up to the place of honor, where several warm songs were sung with great inspiration, and several bochurim sang special rhymes in honor of the occasion.

Afterward, the administrators presented the Rebbe with a "minchas bikkurim," a kvitel summarizing the thousands of consecutive hours learned by the talmidim during the days of Shovavim. The Rebbe shlit"a then delivered holy words and longer words of guidance, and expressed in particular his nachas from the precious gift of the consecutive hours that the hundreds of bochurim brought, and the good wishes he received regarding the rising on Thursday night in the pre-dawn hours during the days of Shovavim. He concluded with strong words of blessing for the rabbeim and for all the talmidim. After the address, the Rebbe went into his private room, where the Rebbe blessed coins and distributed them to all the bochurim who learned the consecutive hours during the days of Shovavim. In addition, the Rebbe blessed coins for the 9th-grade talmidim in our holy mosdos in Eretz Yisroel who learned the consecutive hours, and these will be distributed there next week, b'ezras Hashem.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yoel Teitelbaum and R' Mendel Friedman, at Kinor Dovid hall.
And at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Yosef Gantz and R' Aharon Moshe Goldenberg, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there was time for entry to the Kodesh Penimah from 8:00 until 11:00. Afterward, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
