Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Terumah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
At around 10:15, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the home of R' Yehuda Zev Klein, a member of the neighborhood committee of our holy kehilla, in the Quickier Hills neighborhood in the Kiryas Joel area, where the ceremony of finalizing the purchase and signing the documents took place for the new beis medrash and mikvah building of our holy kehilla in that area, which will be built on a huge plot of land.
HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Friedman shlit"a, Rav of the Smith Farm neighborhood and rosh yeshiva, was also present. Upon arrival, R' Yehuda Zev showed the Rebbe the sketches and plans of the new beis medrash of our holy kehilla in the area. Then R' Dovid Eckstein, the gabbai of our holy kehilla, and the patron, R' Yehuda Zev, addressed the gathering. After the documents were signed, the Rebbe shlit"a spoke words of blessing and extended his holy blessings to R' Yehuda Zev and to all the participants.
At around 11:15, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Monsey, where the Rebbe participated in the Melave Malka seudah and appreciation event for the rebbeim of our holy mosdos in Monsey, held at the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Shmuel Zanvil Wertheimer, director of our holy mosdos and a leader of the kehilla. The Motzei Shabbos zemiros were sung, and the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of our Monsey kehilla shlit"a addressed the gathering. Afterward, the Rebbe shlit"a drank a lechayim, spoke words of Torah and discussed the importance of those who bring merit to the public, and extended his holy blessings to all the people gathered.
From there, the Rebbe shlit"a went to the office of R' Moshe Yitzchak Landau, where documents were signed for prestigious dedications he purchased within our kehilla and mosdos: a classroom in the new Talmud Torah building in Monsey, a entrance-gate dedication in the building of the girls' school in Bnei Brak, and the washing stand and its base in the Great Beis Medrash in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe shlit"a affixed a mezuzah, and after the signing the Rebbe drank a lechayim and extended his holy blessings.
