Wednesday, Parshas Yisro — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris took place in the Heichal Mivtzar HaKollelim for the newborn son of R' Yaakov Mordechai Eckstein, where the Rebbe was honored with sandekaus and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta "Branch Vayoel Moshe". Before davening the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Yoel Teller.
The bochur Yitzchak Tzvi Yosef Friedrich.
The bochur Pesach Yehuda Kahn.
The bochur Asher Anshel Karpen.
The bochur Moshe Avrohom Teller.

After davening the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 8, verse 2. Afterward a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal of the Yeshiva Branch Vayoel Moshe, where the Rebbe learned b'chavrusa with a bochur from the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room, and at 5:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Meir Drummer - R' Yoel Indig, at Ulam Kinor Dovid.
HaRav Shmuel Efraim Gold shlit"a - R' Hillel Kahana, at Ulam Beis Rachel Paradise.

At night there were times of entry to the Rebbe from 8:15 until 12:15.

During the entry times, HaGaon Rabbi Shalom Landau shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon Rabbi Asher Yaakov Westheim zt"l and chairman of the kashrus committee of the Manchester Rabbinate Union, came for a visit. A pleasant conversation was held on matters of shechita and kashrus. The Rebbe shlit"a warmly blessed him and gave him a gift of the sefer Lev Aharon.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his holy residence, at the tenaim of the mechutanim HaRav Shraga Gandel shlit"a - R' Yonah Dovid Perl.

At around 10:25 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy residence, and then continued receiving the public.
