Last night at the Melaveh Malkah following the historic "Shabbos Amlei Torah," the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a — the "Nasi HaKollelim" — delivered, in holy remarks, even longer divrei Torah, with drush and pilpul and words of guidance for the bnei Torah. Regarding the feelings after the uplifting, historic Shabbos, the Rebbe expressed himself in Lashon Kodesh: "...And in conclusion of my words, I want to share my personal feelings about this Shabbos. 'It was an Oneg Shabbos for me' and a great joy to be here at this Shabbos with close to a thousand yungerleit, avreichim, bnei Torah... It was an uplifting Shabbos... It was simply a spiritual delight. The influence of the Torah is evident and recognizable upon you, 'the fear of Hashem is on your faces — may there be many like you in Israel'..."

The Rebbe then expressed his praise for the kollel administration and bestowed his holy blessings, and asked the administration of the gashmiyus "to give an increase to the lomdei Torah,"
"I think that everyone here will agree to this request."
He brought out that there are many talmidei chachamim in the kollelim, each with his own area of expertise, and he asked that "...the kollel administration should see that those yungerleit who are 'worthy of that title' should have the opportunity to serve with rabbanim and morei hora'ah, 'and that they should be seen to be able to come to judge and to rule'... There are fine talmidei chachamim here upon whom one can rely l'halacha..."

In addition, the Rebbe called upon the kollel administration to open a "special fund for the bnei Torah."
"...One more request to the kollel administration, that a 'special fund' be established which should be a help for the avreichim when one makes a simcha, when a boy is born, when a girl is born, Baruch Hashem it is a great simcha in Israel. The kollel administration should give special help, and at a time when there is a simcha in the home, a special gift in honor of the simcha. 'And I understand that all those who are here in the hall agree with my request'..."

The Rebbe then concluded with strong holy blessings for the bnei Torah.
