Monday, Parshas Vaeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a at the vacation location of Palm Springs, California

At around 8:15 the Rebbe shlit"a entered for Shacharis in the local beis medrash, Beis Chabad.

Upon arriving at the beis medrash, the Rebbe looked around at the new setup in the beis medrash, at the new 'Palm Springs Kosher' business in the beis medrash, and at the new kosher kitchen, which serves food that is glatt kosher l'mehadrin under the supervision of the Hitachdus HaRabbonim, for the Jews who come to vacation in Palm Springs.

During the Torah reading the Rebbe was called up for shlishi. After davening, several vacationers came over to greet the Rebbe, after which the Rebbe walked back to where he is staying, and while walking, a beautiful conversation about stories of tzaddikim took place.

In the late morning, at around 11:40, the Rebbe shlit"a — as is his holy custom — went for a walk amid the greenery, where a splendid conversation took place about words of Torah and Chassidus, holy customs, and stories of tzaddikim.

During the afternoon hours the Rebbe learned Torah b'chavrusa with HaGaon Rabbi Reishis Chochmah, the Av Beis Din of Montreal, shlit"a. In the evening at 5:30 the Rebbe entered for Mincha. Between Mincha and Maariv the Rebbe learned Torah at his place in the beis medrash, and at the time of Rabbeinu Tam, Maariv was davened.
