Thursday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta "Sniff Beirach Moshe." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Avrohom Shmuel Aran.
The bochur Kalman Eliezer Sussman.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, at the weekly shiur on the sugya in the yeshiva's shiurim, Maseches Bava Basra, the chapter of Chezkas HaBatim, the Rebbe shlit"a, in his holy way, left a question for the talmidim of the yeshiva before departing for a rest in Palm Springs, California, this coming Sunday, b'ezras Hashem. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe shlit"a went on his weekly visit to the mehudar slaughterhouse and afterwards to the bakery of our holy kehilla, for an extended time.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin under the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel Zilberstein – R' Avrohom Yuda Weinfeld, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yoel Klein – R' Chaim Berish Spielman, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there were yechidus hours in the inner sanctum from 8:00 until 1:00.

During the yechidus hours, HaRav R' Pinchas Friedman shlit"a, head of the Machzikei HaDas Belz in Eretz Yisroel, paid a visit to the inner sanctum. A lengthy conversation in Torah and chassidus took place, and the Rebbe gave him a gift of the sefarim Lev Aharon on Shemos – derushim and aggadah.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the home of his holy grandfather zy"a, at the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
R' Yechezkel Shraga Perl – R' Mordechai Kohn.
R' Yoel Krausz – R' Yosef Kadish Rosenfeld.

Around 11:40 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home, and continued receiving the public until 1 o'clock. Afterwards the bochur Meir Hersh, son of Yoshe Chaim Spitzer (of Williamsburg), a talmid of our holy yeshiva, was tested by the Rebbe shlit"a on five hundred blatt of Gemara.
