Wednesday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, "Veyoel Moshe Branch." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Aharon Mordechai Gross. After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 8, verse 4. Afterward a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

In the morning hours, the signing of the shtaros took place in his home, where the philanthropist R' Chaim Hersh Shaon, son-in-law of the philanthropist R' Shlomo Chaim Heisler a"h, purchased, as he does every year, the merit of the "Yissachar–Zevulun partnership" within the Yam HaTalmud society in the branches of the holy Mesivta. The Rebbe signed the shtaros, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessings upon the donor and his family.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal of the yeshiva, Veyoel Moshe Branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room, and at 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Hillel Herskowitz – R' Avrohom Hersh Weinberger, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Asher Yitzchak Wieder – R' Yitzchak Hersh Friedrich, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there were times for entry to the holy chamber from 8:15 until 1:15.

During the times for entry, the siyum of the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, for the Sefer Torah being written by HaRav HaChassid R' Shlomo Zalman Chaim Epstein, which will be donated to our beis medrash Avnei Tzedek in Kiryas Joel, this coming Shabbos Shirah. The Rebbe shlit"a wrote in the letters, and then drank a lechayim and bestowed his blessings.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in his home, at the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel Wagschal – R' Chaim Farkash.
R' Yoel Schwartz – R' Chaim Turnheim.

Around 11:40 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his home, and then continued to receive the public.
