Monday, Parshas Shemos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Naftali Hirtzka Schwartz took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus and mohel duties.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Divrei Yoel." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Dovid Meir Weiss (Williamsburg).

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 8, verse 4. Afterwards, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva Sniff Divrei Yoel, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room, and at 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim, R' Yoel, son of R' M. Klein - R' Berish Stern, in the Beis Rochel Paradise hall. Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim held in his holy home, with the mechutanim R' Shmuel HaKohen Schoenbrun - R' Avrohom Yosha Gefen.

Around 8:40 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home, and after Maariv the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Boro Park to participate in the wedding simcha of a grandson of the Beirach Moshe zt"l; the chassan is the son of HaRav HaTzaddik R' Chaim Shalom Halberstam shlit"a, son of the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a, and son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla, shlit"a.

Upon arriving in Boro Park, the Rebbe shlit"a first participated in the Sheva Brachos simcha at the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Yosha Lebovits - a grandson of the Atzei Chaim zt"l. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings on the chassan, the mechutanim and the grandfathers, and then broke into a dance.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to the home of the philanthropist R' Yaakov Brauner, where a ceremony of signing documents took place for a zechus he had purchased in the mikvah taharah in Kiryas Joel. The Rebbe signed the documents with the donor, then drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings on the entire family.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to the home of the distinguished philanthropist R' Chaim Yuda Lefkowitz, where a ceremony of signing documents took place for the great zechus of the "naming of the building" of the mikvah taharah in Kiryas Joel, for the fantastic sum of over three million dollars. The Rebbe signed the documents with the donor and then drank a lechayim, during which a pleasant, lengthy conversation took place, and afterwards the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings on the donor and the entire family.

Around 11:45 the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Great Beis Medrash of Bobov in Boro Park to participate in the wedding simcha in the holy courts of the grandson of the Beirach Moshe zt"l.

The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings on the chassan and on the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a, and, "may he be blessed in turn," on the Bobover Rav shlit"a, with close friendship, and afterwards on the other mechutanim and grandfathers.
The Rebbe shlit"a then danced with the chassan, and broke into a spirited dance with the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a, and then continued with the mitzvah dance with the other mechutanim and grandfathers.

Afterwards, the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a escorted the Rebbe shlit"a out to the street, where along the way a nice conversation was held about interesting topics concerning the holy Arizal and R' Yehuda bar Ilai zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls today, 17 Teves.
