Wednesday, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Yaakov Eliezer Fargas took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put on tefillin for the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yaakov Yehuda Weiss.
the bochur Elkana Menachem Fried.
the bochur Yisroel Simcha Landau.
the bochur Asher Tzvi Yoel Glanz.
After davening, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the hall of the beis medrash.

In the morning, the Rebbe shlit"a went on his weekly visit to check on the state of our kehilla's bakery, and afterwards to the mehudar slaughterhouse.

In the afternoon at around 4:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Yoel Avrohom Wolf Epfel — R' Yoel Hirsch, at Kinor David hall.
R' Eliezer Dovid Spitzer — R' Yisroel Isser Markowitz, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night there were yechidus hours from 8:15 until 11:45.

During the yechidus hours, HaGaon Rabbi Aharon Kahn shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak, son of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a, entered the Rebbe's room. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe shlit"a gave his holy blessings and presented him with a gift of his sefer Lev Aharon. At around 11:50, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
