Monday, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Shmuel Spitzer took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our great beis medrash in Kiryas Joel. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Yuda Lebowitz. During davening the Rebbe said Zechuras verse by verse, and during the Torah reading the Rebbe went to hagbah. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in his private room.

In the afternoon around 4:00, the bris of the newborn son of R' Shlomo Baruch Teitelbaum took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus and mohel.

After the bris the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the hechal of the yeshiva, the Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room, and afterwards the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening there were entrance times to the inner sanctum from 8:15 until 12:00.

During the entrance times, HaRav HaTzaddik R' Chaim Shalom Halberstam shlit"a, son of the Bobov Rebbe shlit"a and son-in-law of HaGaon the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a, entered the inner sanctum to invite the Rebbe and receive his holy blessings ahead of the wedding of his son the chassan, which will take place next week in the great beis medrash of Bobov in Boro Park. A pleasant conversation about stories of tzaddikim took place, and the Rebbe shlit"a wished him blessings and blessed the chassan. Around 12:00 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
