Tuesday, Parshas Vayeishev — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in our beis medrash, together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Gedolah "Esek HaTorah" – Monsey branch. Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Avrohom, son of R' Weiss Palatchek.
The bochur Yoel, son of R' Goldberger.
After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered brief words of chizuk to the bochurim on the verse "Vayeishev Yaakov b'eretz megurei aviv" ("And Yaakov dwelled in the land of his father's sojourning"). Afterwards, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.
After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the building next to the beis medrash that is being built for the yeshiva ketana, where the Rebbe looked over the construction work on all four floors, and afterwards looked over the construction work at the mikvah being built for the beis medrash.
In the afternoon at around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.
In the evening there were times for entering the inner sanctum in Williamsburg from 8:30 until 1:00.
Among others, HaGaon R' Yitzchak Meir Sternbuch shlit"a, one of the prominent roshei yeshivos and mashpiim in Eretz Yisroel, entered the inner sanctum; he will speak at the central Seudas Hoda'ah on 21 Kislev. A fine Torah conversation took place, as well as a discussion about the state of the yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel.
Also entering the inner sanctum were the mechutanim HaGaon R' Lipa Teitelbaum shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Sosov, father of the chasan, son-in-law of the HaGaon Rabbi, Rav of our kehilla, and HaGaon R' Yoel Menachem Ashkenazi shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Karitz, father of the kallah, son of the Gaon Av Beis Din of Alesk shlit"a, to receive his holy blessings on the occasion of the wedding of their children, mazel tov, which will take place IY"H on Monday, Zos Chanukah, may it come for good.
At around 11:30 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home, and continued to receive the public.
