Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Vayeitzei — "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

On Friday night at around 5:10 the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yoshe Mendlowitz - Mishabbak.

The davening concluded at around 6:50.

After davening the crowd went over to wish a "gut Shabbos," and the Rebbe shlit"a returned to his holy home.

At around 8:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Friday night seudah in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hamesivta, and began, in his holy manner, "Shalom Aleichem" with fiery passion.

Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the young man Yisroel Dushinsky, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Dovid Dov shlit"a. The one honored with holding the cup for Kiddush: R' Manish Freund (Bnei Brak).

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And she called his name Yosef," and explained in the manner of a derush the sugya of a convert who converted, being like a newborn child.

In the Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a spoke on the verse "And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set on the earth, its top reaching to heaven," and explained that the Jews received the Torah because we follow quality, and a person can change entirely into another person, but not into a heavenly angel. How can a person arrive at true teshuva, transforming into another person? By accepting upon himself from today onward to serve Hashem only, with a whole heart.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: HaGaon R' Yitmar Tuvia Kaufman shlit"a. After Havdalah the people went over to wish a good week.

Afterward the Rebbe went out and recited Kiddush Levana, and wished the entire tzibbur a good week and a good month. It concluded at 7:45.
