Wednesday, Parshas Vayeitzei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Yeshiva Gedolah, "Shiur Daled." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Asher Anshel Zaldan.
The bochur Baruch Schwartz.
The bochur Chaim Yosef Shimshon Shmaie.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash. The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished blessings to the roshei yeshiva, to the bar mitzvah bochurim and to all the talmidim. A nice, extended conversation ensued, in which the Rebbe shlit"a expressed his heartfelt feelings about the holy journey "V'shavti" to the ancestral city of Sighet, and spoke about the trip and the trips of the past years, as well as the trips made by his father, the Rebbe zy"a, the Beirach Moshe zt"l.

On his way out, the Rosh Yeshiva HaGaon Rabbi Arye Dov Kornbluh shlit"a conveyed a greeting to the Rebbe from the Rav of our holy kehilla in Lakewood, where the Rebbe spent this past Shabbos Kodesh, and in particular from our new, magnificent great beis medrash.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Snif Beirach Moshe, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room, and at 5:30 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the early evening the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim R' Chaim Eliyahu Zwebel and R' Mordechai Yehuda Friedman, at Kinor David hall.

In the evening there were times for entering the Kodesh Penimah from 8:00 until 11:30.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim, in his holy home of his father the Rebbe zy"a, at the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
R' Eliezer Hersh Neiman and R' Yoel Hersh Herskowitz.
HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Aharon Zevel shlit"a and R' Yoel, son of HaGaon Rabbi Kornbluh.

At around 11:30 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
