Report
Chassidim around the entire world are following with excitement the historic "Shabbos Ameilei Torah" for the lomdei kollel of our kollelim, headed by our king and guide, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.
It has been 60 years since the winter of 5723, when the founder of our holy kehilla, the Divrei Yoel zy"a, established the first kollel, "Kollel Torah V'Yirah," with its 5 members. Today, 60 years later, the mighty network of our holy kehilla's kollelim numbers thousands of lomdim, "may they increase." More than 1,000 older members of the kollel from throughout greater New York and Canada will gather together to offer praise and thanks to Hashem, who has placed our portion among those who sit in the beis medrash, and to strengthen themselves to rise in Torah and yiras Shamayim and to continue as "ameilei Torah."
The Shabbos promises to be a "Shabbos reflecting the World to Come," with elevated tefillos, holy tishen, and warm drashos, with words of chizuk and guidance from the Nasi of the Kollelim, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, and several other maggidim.
Also planned are special gatherings to be held on Motzei Shabbos, when the members of the kollel will gather together by age with the heads of the kollelim and hear full answers to the questions that were submitted in recent weeks.

Also, there will be a "Kinus Yoshvei HaOhel" for the older talmidei chachomim who have been in kollel for many years. A powerful address will be heard from the elder rosh yeshiva HaGaon Rabbi Eli Ber Wachtfogel, rosh yeshiva of Zichron Moshe; a drasha from HaGaon Rabbi, rav of beis medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, member of the Beis Din Tzedek and rosh hakollel in Kiryas Joel; and a drasha from HaGaon Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Wosner shlit"a, rosh hakollel in Montreal.
During the Shabbos, drashos will also be heard from renowned maggidim, leading rabbonim, and prominent speakers, including our teacher the Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta shlit"a; HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Zwebel shlit"a, rosh hakollel and rav of beis medrash Beirach Moshe; HaRav Berel Gurelnik shlit"a; HaRav Pinchas Kaff shlit"a, rav of beis medrash Ohel Tzvi; HaRav Yechezkel Weiss shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Or Torah; the mashpia R' Aharon Weinberg shlit"a; and the mashpia R' Dovid Hirshfeld shlit"a of Yerushalayim.

In addition, a magnificent "Heichal HaTorah" will be set up at the Shabbos site, to allow learning Torah with expanded peace of mind. An "Otzar Kinus Sofrim" has also been established, in which dozens of seforim on the subject of Torah learning have been placed, as well as works and kuntresim written by the lomdei kollel over the years, and the seforim of our holy Rabbeim.
"Come, let us go out to greet the Shabbos Queen."
