Monday, Parshas Toldos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Dovid Meir Gutman took place, at which the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Sniff Divrei Yoel." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
the bochur Yoel Rottenberg.
the bochur Zalman Leib Felberbaum.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 6, verse 2.

Afterward, a lechayim gathering was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a paid a condolence call to the mourners, HaRav HaChasid R' Shlomo and his brother HaRav HaChasid R' Dovid Breuer, on the passing of their mother a"h.

Yesterday, the Rebbe shlit"a also paid a condolence call by telephone to his mechutan HaGaon R' Lipa Teitelbaum shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Beis Aharon, and to his brother HaRav HaTzaddik R' Yirmiyah Teitelbaum shlit"a, on the passing of their sister, the Rebbetzin, wife of HaGaon R' Yisroel Chaim Menashe Friedman z"l, dayan of our holy kehilla in Williamsburg.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Sniff Beirach Moshe, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room, and at 6:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening there were times for entering the holy inner chamber from 8:15 until 12:00.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim hall in the beautiful holy home of the Rebbe's grandfather zy"a, at the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Lipa Spielman and R' Chaim Yaakov Herskowitz.

Around 11:25, the Rebbe shlit"a received a visit from Rabbi Yehuda Gerami, chief rabbi of Iran, accompanied by HaRav HaChasid R' Zalman Leib Markowitz and the Chabad shluchim, and a pleasant conversation took place about Jewish life in Iran.

Around 12:00 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his beautiful holy home.
