For Mincha and Shalosh Seudos, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at around 6:30. Mincha: HaRav R' Berish Gefen shlit"a; Hotzaah and Hachnasah (taking out and returning the Torah): R' Yitzchak Ber Frenkel; Kohen: HaRav R' Levi Yitzchak Borzesky shlit"a; Levi: R' Yoel the son of R' Mendel Lowy; Shlishi: R' Mordechai Landau; Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a; Gelilah: HaGaon R' Yaakov Kvan shlit"a (Argentina).
At Shalosh Seudos, the Rebbe shlit"a honored the following with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen; Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.
In the Torah thoughts, the Rebbe shlit"a focused on the verse "And Avrohom was old, advanced in days," and explained that by conducting oneself with kindness even before one asks, one merits forgiveness of sins, both revealed and hidden. This is through the power and merit of Avrohom Avinu, who planted the attributes of kindness in the world. But first one must do teshuva for what one does remember.
Yedid Nefesh: HaRav HaTzaddik R' Yitzchak Tzvi Weiss shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Uhel and environs; Kel Mistatter: HaRav R' Levi Yitzchak Borzesky shlit"a. The Rebbe shlit"a recited the blessing over the cup and said the Sheva Brachos.
Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: led by R' Yoshe Mendlowitz. After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish the Rebbe a gutte voch. It ended at 8:55.
The Rebbe shlit"a was escorted out with the nigunim "Ki Malachav" and "Kah Zechus Avos," in honor of this week's holy journey to the ancestral city of Sighet.
On Motzei Yom Gilah
On Motzei Shabbos, HaGaon R' Avrohom Schreiber shlit"a, dayan in Boro Park, entered the Rebbe's room, where he presented the Rebbe with his new sefer. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe blessed him with holy blessings.
The Rebbe shlit"a also farhered (examined) students from Yeshivas Heichal HaTorah, one of our holy mosdos, on several mesechtos, and afterwards distributed a gift to the bochurim and blessed them with holy blessings.
