After davening, an appeal was held for the Nefesh HaChaim institution, at which HaGaon R' Avrohom Sholom Friedman shlit"a spoke.

Afterwards the congregation went over to wish each other "Gut Shabbos."

A short while after davening, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shabbos table in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hamesivta, and began, as is his holy custom, "Shalom Aleichem" with fiery passion.

Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the bochur Meir Eliezer Teitelbaum, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Boruch shlit"a. The one honored with the cup for Kiddush: HaRav HaChassid R' Tzvi Akiva Breitstein (director of our institutions in Beit Shemesh).

After davening, the Kiddusha Rabba simcha took place for the granddaughter of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, the newborn daughter of HaGaon R' Moshe Meisels shlit"a.

Joyous songs were sung, and the Rebbe made Kiddush and tasted. The baal simcha, Rabbi Moshe Meisels shlit"a, spoke in honor of the simcha.

The Rebbe shlit"a wished "Lechaim" and offered his holy blessing to the baal simcha and to the entire assembly, and afterwards delivered divrei Torah. The Rebbe shlit"a began with the verse "And the life of Sarah was…" and explained that through the study of Torah, "it is good for him that he was created," and that women, by helping others learn and by raising their children for Torah, also merit "it is good that they were created."
