Tuesday, Parshas Chayei Sarah, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Asher Zelig Bleich took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandekaus.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta "Snif Vyoel Moshe." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Mordechai Yoel Ungar.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 13.

Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

At around 1:20 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a participated in the hachnasas sefer Torah celebration that was donated to our Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe in Kiryas Joel by the family of R' Yaakov Moshe Safdi and the family of R' Yehoshua Tzvi Brach, together with the holy institution "HaMaspik," in memory of the bochur Refael a"h, son of Yehoshua Tzvi.

The Rebbe shlit"a danced the holy dances with the sefer Torah, and then honored the Rav of the Beis Medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Shimon Zev Meisels shlit"a, and the members of the family, to dance. Afterwards, the students of the holy institution HaMaspik danced while the Rebbe shlit"a looked on with emotion and with tears of joy. After the dancing, the Rebbe shlit"a recited "L'Dovid Mizmor" in a weeping voice and with heartfelt devotion.

After the dancing, a lechayim was held with the members of the family and with the students of the holy institution HaMaspik.

"Ani Maamin" was sung, and then the Rebbe shlit"a drank a lechayim and offered his holy blessings to the donors, to the administration of the holy institutions Shaarei Chemla and HaMaspik, and to the entire community. Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words and words of blessing. During them, the Rebbe shlit"a brought out the verse "This is the book of the generations of man": a person himself is a sefer Torah. A sefer Torah must be whole, and if, chalilah, something is missing, it is not a kosher sefer Torah. In the same way, a person must also be whole, both physically and spiritually. He then spoke in praise of all those who devote themselves to these children, and concluded with very warm words of blessing.

After the holy words, the Rav of the Beis Medrash Yismach Moshe shlit"a distributed a gift to all the children on behalf of the Rebbe shlit"a.

In the afternoon at around 4:45, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home, and then set out on the way to Boro Park.

At around 7:40, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the halls of Ateres Chaya in Boro Park, where the Rebbe shlit"a graced, as the head of the simcha, the wedding celebration in our holy courts of the chosson, a grandson of the holy Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a. The chosson is the son of HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Bloomingrove, and the son-in-law of HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a arranged the kesubah, and then drank a lechayim and offered his holy blessing to the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire community.

Before the chuppah, a longer conversation took place with HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a, and HaGaon, the Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of our kehilla in Williamsburg shlit"a.

Before going out to the chuppah, the Rebbe shlit"a blessed the chosson.

At the chuppah, the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with reciting the kiddushin, and honored the grandfather, HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park shlit"a.

After the chuppah, the Rebbe shlit"a came over to the new home of his grandson, Rabbi Lipa Ashkenazi, son of HaGaon, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, the Rebbe's brother-in-law. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered holy blessings.

Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a drove into Williamsburg, where there were times of entry at his holy home until around 12:00.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home at 10:45.

At around 12:30, the Rebbe shlit"a came over to the wedding celebration in our holy courts in the halls of Ateres Chaya in Boro Park. The Rebbe shlit"a tasted of the food, drank a lechayim, and offered holy blessings.

For Birkas Hamazon, the Rebbe honored his brother, HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Boro Park 15 shlit"a. For the Sheva Brachos, the Rebbe shlit"a honored HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Williamsburg shlit"a, HaRav R' Avrohom Meir Halberstam shlit"a, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park - 18, HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of Dushinsky in Boro Park shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Moshe Ashkenazi shlit"a.

At around 12:50, R' Mordechai Dovid Oesterreicher, the badchan of the king, called out the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tzantz. The Rebbe shlit"a performed the holy dances before the kallah, and then danced with the chosson and the mechutanim.
