Motzei Shabbos Parshas Vayeira "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
After Havdalah, a group of 45 bochurim from the Bobov kehilla, who had spent Shabbos with the Rebbe in Kiryas Joel, entered the Rebbe's room.
At around 10:40, the siyum of the writing of a Sefer Torah took place, a Torah being written by the family of R' Yaakov Moshe Safdi and the family of R' Yehoshua Tzvi Brach. It will be brought on Tuesday to our beis medrash Yismach Moshe in Kiryas Joel.
The Rebbe shlit"a filled in letters, then drank lechayim and blessed the donors and family members with his holy blessings.
Later, HaGaon R' Yitzchak Rosenblatt shlit"a, a member of the Beis Din Tzedek of the Eida HaChareidis and a member of the shechita committee of the Eida HaChareidis, paid a visit to the Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation ensued about the laws of shechita and its stringencies. Afterwards, the Rebbe shlit"a invited the esteemed guest to visit our kehilla's mehudar slaughterhouse.
