Thursday, Parshas Lech Lecha, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
Early in the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Moshe Yosef Friedman took place, where the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandek and mohel.
The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, "Sniff Beirach Moshe." After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 13. Afterwards, the yeshiva students went over to greet the Rebbe.
At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.
In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Meir Zicherman - R' Chana Brish Deem, at Ulam Kinor David.
R' Yekusiel Yosha Budek - R' Yaakov Yosef Glauber, at Ulam Beis Rochel Paradise.
At night there were entrance times to the Rebbe's inner chamber from 8:00 until 11:00. During these times, the Rebbe shlit"a listened with great nachas to the Halachos of Shabbos recited by the bochur Shimon Yuda, son of R' Baruch Yitzchak Weiss, and the bochur Meir Zeida, son of R' Yoel Dovid Weiss, students of the Mesivta.
At around 11:10 the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
After Maariv, at around 11:45, the Rebbe shlit"a went to return a visit to HaGaon HaGadol Rabbi Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a, member of the Beis Din Tzedek of the Eida HaChareidis, at the guest residence in the home of R' Mordechai Shabsi Wertzberger in the Wadberg section (Jackson) in the Kiryas Joel area. A lengthy, wonderful Torah conversation ensued, along with interesting halachic questions on the laws of Sukkah. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and gave holy blessings to the member of the Beis Din Tzedek shlit"a and to the host. The Rebbe then inquired where he would be this coming Shabbos, and where the distinguished guest would be staying in Kiryas Joel.
HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Yozefovitch shlit"a, the rav of the neighborhood, also appeared. The Rebbe shlit"a inquired about further plans to expand the neighborhood and gave holy blessings.
