Monday, Parshas Lech Lecha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, "Branch Divrei Yoel." Before davening, the Rebbe shlit"a put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yechezkel Meshulam Teller.

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a recited the daily Tehillim shiur, chapter 5, verse 8: "But as for me, in the abundance of Your kindness I will come to Your house," and expressed praise and thanks to Hashem for the very fact that one is able to go and come to the beis medrash, "for every single step, praise Hashem."

Afterwards, a lechayim celebration was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Branch Divrei Yoel, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room, and at 6 o'clock the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Chaim Peckete - R' Moshe son of R' Simon, at Keren V'Yoel Moshe hall.
R' Chaim Dovid Fried - HaRav R' Dovid son of R' Moshe Eckstein shlit"a, at Kinor David hall.
R' Yoel Eli Kornbluh - R' Hersh Leib Landau, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

At night, there were visiting hours for entering the inner sanctum from 8:00 until 12:30.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim, and the tenaim took place in his holy home, in the presence of the Rebbetzin zy"a, for the following mechutanim:
R' Meir Yaakov Lebowitz - R' Avrohom Yeshaya Schwartz.
R' Yaakov HaKohen Friedman - R' Yisroel Mordechai Wanhatzker.

Around 11:30, HaGaon HaGadol R' Shimon Yitzchak Schlesinger shlit"a paid a lengthy visit to the Rebbe shlit"a. He was recently appointed as a member of the Beis Din of the Eidah HaChareidis and came to receive the Rebbe's holy blessings and words of guidance on the occasion of the appointment. The Rebbe shlit"a received him with exceptional warmth, and a lengthy Torah conversation ensued. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim, wished him very warm blessings, and then accompanied him out to the street.

Around 12:30, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in his holy home.
