In recent days the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a appointed HaGaon Rabbi R' Elazar Nisan Strahli shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla and mara d'asra in Boro Park, as the Av Beis Din of our new beis medrash in the Talmud Torah building on 36th Street.

The new beis medrash is the 9th beis medrash of our holy kehilla in Boro Park, and it stands as a beacon of light for the entire neighborhood.
