At the daytime Hakafos, honor was given to all those who merit to be teachers of Torah to the Jewish people, the disseminators of Torah, and afterwards to all the grandchildren of the holy Rebbe, the Beirach Moshe zy"a, sons-in-law and bochurim, to dance with the Torah.
At the sixth Hakafa the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a made the swaying movements with the Sefer Torah with great elevation and devotion. After the seventh Hakafa, on the bimah, while the stanza "Chazak Meyached K'echad" was being danced, the Rebbe took the Sefer Torah himself and danced with great affection and elevation, in exalted joy.
At the conclusion, the Rebbe recited all the tefillos and led the recitation of "L'Dovid Mizmor."
For the Torah reading, the shamashim of the beis medrash were honored. Kohen: R' Shmuel HaKohen Pr"m, Levi: R' Yudel Wz"bg, Shlishi: R' Chaim Shlomo Fischer, Revi'i: R' Yosha Mendlowitz, Chamishi: the Rebbe shlit"a.
Due to the shortage of time, the Rebbe shlit"a did not make Kiddush; they went immediately into the Polish shul for the Chasanim of the Torah.

After being called up, the Rebbe shlit"a instructed that a Mi Sheberach be made for R' Moshe Menachah Schlesinger.
The Rebbe honored R' Naftali Hirtzka Stein as Chasan Bereishis, and a tallis was spread out like a chuppah. Hagbah: Rabbi Dovid T"B, son of the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, Gelilah: R' Aharon Dov Getter. The Rebbe shlit"a honored the bochur Alter Boruch Gefen as Chasan Maftir, Hagbah: R' Yoel Weider, Gelilah: R' Yoel Moshe Glick (of Boro Park).
Mincha was led by R' Avrohom Moshe Lebovits, and the customary festive music was played. Immediately after Kaddish Titkabel, Korbanos and Ashrei were recited, and Mincha was davened. It ended at 7:35.
The Rebbe shlit"a entered his private room, where he made Kiddush, immediately washed for the seudah, and, as is customary, broke bread on long challos baked with raisins.
