Continuation of the report from Shabbos Chol HaMoed Sukkos, the Ushpizin of Aharon HaKohen, in the Kodesh of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a.

The Sound of Joy and Salvation in the Tents of the Righteous

After davening, the Rebbe shlit"a participated in the simcha of the "Kiddush Rabba" for the granddaughter of the Beirach Moshe zt"l, the newborn daughter of Rabbi Chaim Meizlish, son of the Gaon Av Beis Din of our kehilla in Montreal shlit"a, and son-in-law of HaRav HaTzaddik R' Kalman Halberstam shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Zanz Kiryas Joel. It took place in the sukka adjoining the Zanz beis medrash in Kiryas Joel.

She was named in Yisroel Pesil Leah, after the Rebbetzin, the righteous a"h, the pure life partner of the Beirach Moshe zt"l.

The Rebbe shlit"a recited Kiddush, joyous melodies were sung, a lengthy conversation of stories about tzaddikim followed, and the Rebbe blessed the grandfathers, the baal simcha and the entire gathering.

Ra'avah d'Ra'avin

The Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at 7:25. Mincha: R' Yisroel Spitzer. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Reuven Glantz. Kohen: R' Elimelech HaKohen Deutsch. Levi: R' Yekusiel Hersh Weiss (Montreal). Shlishi: R' Shmuel Dovid Markovitch (Williamsburg). Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: Rabbi Pinchas Hersh Reich shlit"a.

After Mincha, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the large sukka for Shalosh Seudos.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored the following for the zemiros at Shalosh Seudos. Odeh: R' Shlomo Hersh Eckstein. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

During the Torah, the Rebbe shlit"a discussed the verse "Behaalosecha es haneiros" — "to tell the praise of Aharon, that he did not change," and explained that Aharon HaKohen bestowed both material and spiritual blessing on each person according to his level: for the bnei aliyah, spiritual first, and for the ordinary people, material first. The sukka likewise bestows both material and spiritual blessing, and first it bestows good blessings in material matters.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos was davened in the sukka. R' Shlomo Zalman Weiss davened before the amud.

After Havdalah, everyone went over to wish a gutten moed. It concluded at 9:35.
